أمد/ واشنطن: قال البيت الأبيض إن 17 دولة بينها الولايات المتحدة تدعم المقترح الذي أعلنه الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن من أجل إنهاء الحرب في قطاع غزة.

وأشار البيت الأبيض إلى أن بياناً مشتركاً صادر عن الدول الـ 17 يدعو قادة كل من إسرائيل و"حماس" إلى تقديم تنازلات من أجل إبرام هذا الاتفاق، لافتاً إلى أنه ينص على أنه "حان الوقت لإنهاء الحرب في غزة، ومقترح بايدن هو نقطة البداية".

ومنها إلى جانب أمريكا، البرازيل، النمسا، الأرجنتين، بلغاريا.

بيان مشترك من قادة الولايات المتحدة والأرجنتين والنمسا والبرازيل وبلغاريا وكندا وكولومبيا والدنمارك وفرنسا وألمانيا وبولندا والبرتغال ورومانيا وصربيا وإسبانيا وتايلاند والمملكة المتحدة بشأن غزة.

باعتبارنا قادة الدول التي تشعر بالقلق العميق بشأن الرهائن الذين تحتجزهم حماس في غزة، بما في ذلك العديد من مواطنينا، فإننا ندعم بالكامل التحرك نحو وقف إطلاق النار واتفاق إطلاق سراح الرهائن المطروح الآن على الطاولة وكما حدده الرئيس بايدن في 31 مايو 2024. لا وقت لنضيعه.

إننا ندعو حماس إلى إغلاق هذا الاتفاق، الذي إسرائيل مستعدة للمضي قدمًا فيه، والبدء في عملية إطلاق سراح مواطنينا.

ونشير إلى أن هذا الاتفاق من شأنه أن يؤدي إلى وقف فوري لإطلاق النار وإعادة تأهيل غزة إلى جانب ضمانات أمنية للإسرائيليين والفلسطينيين، وإتاحة فرص لسلام طويل الأمد أكثر استدامة وحل الدولتين.

وفي هذه اللحظة الحاسمة، ندعو قادة إسرائيل وكذلك حماس إلى تقديم أي تنازلات نهائية ضرورية لإبرام هذه الصفقة وتوفير الراحة لأسر الرهائن لدينا، وكذلك لأسر كلا جانبي هذا الصراع الرهيب، بما في ذلك السكان المدنيين. لقد حان وقت انتهاء الحرب وهذه الصفقة هي نقطة البداية الضرورية.

Joint Statement from the Leaders of the United States, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, and the United Kingdom on Gaza

As leaders of countries deeply concerned for the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, including many of our own citizens, we fully support the movement towards a ceasefire and hostage release deal now on the table and as outlined by President Biden on May 31, 2024.  There is no time to lose.  We call on Hamas to close this agreement, that Israel is ready to move forward with, and begin the process of releasing our citizens. 

We note that this agreement would lead to an immediate ceasefire and rehabilitation of Gaza together with security assurances for Israelis, and Palestinians, and opportunities for a more enduring long-term peace and a two-state solution.  At this decisive moment, we call on the leaders of Israel as well as Hamas to make whatever final compromises are necessary to close this deal and bring relief to the families of our hostages, as well as those on both sides of this terrible conflict, including the civilian populations.  It is time for the war to end and this deal is the necessary starting point.
